Draft: not yet in force
Draft of 7 October 2026 for review by a qualified Indian lawyer before publication. It is not legal advice.
Vihara is a product of Naptrix Labs Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana (“Naptrix Labs”, “Vihara”, “we”, “us”). Vihara runs an online marketplace that connects people who want a chauffeur-driven vehicle for a long trip (“Travellers”) with owners of commercial vehicles who provide the vehicle and driver (“Hosts”).
A long trip means days together in one car. These rules apply to Travellers, Hosts and drivers alike; breaking them can lead to suspension.
Everyone
- Treat each other with respect. No harassment, threats, discrimination or abusive language, in person or in messages.
- Keep payments in the app. Asking for or offering cash outside the app is not allowed.
- No alcohol or drugs for the driver at any time during a trip. Travellers may not consume alcohol in the vehicle unless the Host agrees and the law allows it.
- No smoking in the vehicle unless the Host agrees.
- Use SOS for emergencies; it alerts your emergency contacts and Vihara.
Drivers and Hosts
- Drive within speed limits and permit conditions, and rest: no more than [10] hours of driving in a day and a break every [2] hours.
- Driving between 22:00 and 06:00 only if agreed in the app.
- The vehicle must match its photos, be clean, and carry a first-aid kit and a spare tyre.
- Never carry other passengers or goods during a booked trip.
Travellers
- Travel with only the people booked; respect the seating limit.
- Plan stops so the driver gets food and rest; the driver allowance covers their meals and stay.
- Report damage you cause; it is cheaper to settle honestly than through a dispute.
